Bus Accident: 4 Killed, 10 Injured as Ahmedabad-Rajkot Bus Collides With Tanker on Chotila Highway, Bursts Into Flames

Ahmedabad: A devastating road accident on the Rajkot-Chotila highway left four people dead and at least ten injured late Wednesday night, after a private bus travelling from Ahmedabad to Rajkot collided with a tanker near Sangani village and erupted into a fireball.

The crash occurred between 1:30 and 2:00 am. The tanker, loaded with asphalt, lost control after one of its tyres burst. The bus coming from behind had no time to brake and slammed into the tanker at full force. The impact triggered a massive explosion, and the entire bus was engulfed in flames within moments. A short circuit is also being considered as a possible cause of the fire.

Passengers had no chance to escape. Four people were burned alive inside the vehicle. Their bodies were so severely charred that identification has become difficult. Ten others sustained serious injuries, with several reported to be in critical condition. The remaining passengers managed to get out.
