Banaskantha: A horrific road accident occurred on the Iqbalgarh National Highway in the Amirgarh taluka of Banaskantha district, resulting in the tragic death of six individuals. The incident took place when a speeding truck, coming from the wrong side of the road, collided head-on with a car. The crash also left three other passengers seriously injured, sending shockwaves throughout the region.
CAR REDUCED TO MANGLED WRECKAGE
According to reports, the car was passing through the Iqbalgarh Highway in Amirgarh when it was struck by the truck, which was allegedly speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road. The impact of the collision was so severe that the car was completely crushed. Six occupants of the vehicle lost their lives at the scene.

Upon hearing the loud crash, locals and passing motorists rushed to the site to assist. They immediately alerted the police and the ‘108’ emergency ambulance service.
INJURED IN CRITICAL CONDITION
The three individuals who sustained severe injuries in the accident were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment. Their condition remains critical. Upon receiving information about the tragedy, a convoy of the Amirgarh Police reached the highway to manage the situation and initiate legal proceedings.
