Anant Ambani’s 140-Km Trek to Dwarka Captivates the Internet

In a remarkable display of devotion, Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani, has reportedly embarked on a 140-kilometer journey on foot from Jamnagar to Dwarka in Gujarat. A video circulating widely online, captures the 29-year-old walking alongside companions, sparking intrigue and admiration across social media. The footage has fueled claims that Anant is undertaking this pilgrimage to visit the revered Dwarkadhish temple, a significant spiritual site tied to Lord Krishna.
According to sources, the journey, which began in the early hours of Friday at 3:45 a.m. during a special muhurat (auspicious time), is motivated by a personal vow. Anant is said to be covering 15 to 20 kilometers daily, with the trek expected to span approximately 12 days. Reports suggest he opts to walk at night to minimize disruption to traffic and avoid inconveniencing the public. While the Ambani family has not issued an official statement confirming these details, the viral video shows Anant surrounded by security personnel, chanting divine names as he progresses along the route.
This spiritual endeavor comes ahead of Anant’s 30th birthday on April 10, which he is reportedly planning to celebrate at the Dwarka temple. The younger Ambani, who married Radhika Merchant in a lavish ceremony in July 2024, is no stranger to public attention. His pre-wedding events in Jamnagar earlier that year drew global notice, and his father, Mukesh Ambani, remains India’s wealthiest individual with a net worth of $95.9 billion. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Anant’s Vantara project, a sprawling animal rescue and conservation center in Jamnagar, where Anant personally guided him through the facility.
The video, has amplified curiosity about Anant’s pilgrimage, blending his family’s deep-rooted faith with his emerging public persona. As the clip continues to gain traction, it underscores the intersection of tradition and modernity that defines the Ambani legacy.
