Ambaji (Banaskantha): The annual Bhadarvi Poonam Mahamela 2025 at Ambaji temple has drawn massive crowds, with 22,43,489 devotees offering prayers to Maa Amba over the last four days. Pilgrims arrived not only by vehicles and buses but also in lakhs on foot, with several groups and yatras joining the holy gathering.
According to the temple administration, alongside darshan, 2,58,875 devotees received food prasad, while 19,411 packets of chikki prasad were also distributed.
Day-Wise Darshan & Prasad Figures
- August 31 – September 1: Around 3,71,211 devotees visited the shrine. A total of 140 dhwaja (flags) were hoisted. The temple distributed 3,35,316 packets of mohanthal prasad and 4,751 packets of chikki prasad.
- September 1 – September 2: Ambaji welcomed 3,58,239 devotees. As many as 8,410 pilgrims opted for the ropeway. In this period, 2,77,750 mohanthal packets and 3,712 chikki packets were distributed. The temple also received 4.860 grams of gold as offerings.
- September 2 – September 3: This marked the biggest single-day turnout with 7,70,224 devotees. Gujarat ST buses made 1,901 trips, ferrying 89,593 passengers. That day, 4,90,939 mohanthal packets and 4,909 chikki packets were given to devotees. Donations amounted to ₹43,86,805, along with 500 grams of silver.
- September 3 – September 4: Another 7,43,815 devotees visited Maa Amba. Gujarat ST ran 2,575 trips, transporting 1,11,758 pilgrims. The temple distributed 3,83,060 packets of mohanthal. Offerings included 2.500 grams of gold and ₹48,52,956 in cash.

In total, across the four days of the Mahamela:
- 22,43,489 devotees visited Ambaji.
- Gujarat ST operated 5,999 trips, carrying 2,73,003 passengers.
- 14,87,065 mohanthal packets and 19,411 chikki packets were distributed.
- Temple revenue in four days touched ₹1,47,83,837, with offerings including 7.360 grams of gold and 500 grams of silver.
