Ahmedabad SIR Confusion Clears with Special Camps: Aid at 50 Locations Over Two Days, Note the Deadline

Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad District Collector and District Election Officer Sujit Kumar shared updates on the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in the district. He stated that booth level officers (BLOs) are actively collecting fully completed nomination forms through door-to-door visits. All voters are urged to hand over their completed forms to BLOs whenever they arrive.

Special Camps Organized

This process is set to continue until December 4, but officials advise voters who have already received and filled out forms not to wait until then. Forms can be submitted to BLOs as soon as they visit before that date.

BLOs will gather forms during their door-to-door surveys. Additionally, camps are scheduled for November 29 and 30. Voters who missed earlier opportunities can attend these camps to fill out and submit complete forms with all details. Those who wish may also submit supporting documents voluntarily at the camps.

Link to Check 2002 Voter List

Many voters are confused about names missing from the 2002 voter list. For this, the ECI Net link has been provided, where voters can enter details to locate their names from that list. The District Election Officer again appealed to voters to cooperate fully with BLOs by completing and submitting forms.

As part of the voter list revision drive across Ahmedabad district’s assembly constituencies, special camps are planned for November 29 and 30, totaling 50 camps.
