Ahmedabad : Activa hit BRTS railing near Astodia Darwaza in Ahmedabad. Following the accident, a father and daughter fell from the vehicle. The father died on the spot whereas the daughter was taken to hospital following serious injuries. Ketan Panchal, a resident of Bapunagar was going with his 16-year-old daughter on Activa through the BRTS corridor near Astodia Darwaza at 11:30 pm when the Activa collided with the railing of the BRTS at high speed.
Ketan Panchal suffered serious head injury when Activa hit the railing, his daughter also suffered a head injury. An ambulance reached the spot after being informed about the incident. Ketan Panchal died on the spot due to serious head injuries in the accident, while his daughter has been shifted to the hospital for treatment due to injuries. Ketan Panchal’s body has been shifted for postmortem. Traffic Police has registered a case against the deceased Ketan Panchal and is investigating.
A serious accident has come to light in Patan early this morning (January 17). Two brothers who were returning from selling vegetables were hit by a turbo truck in the early morning, one of them died on the spot, while the other was seriously injured and has been shifted for treatment.
