
Ahmedabad: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India, has promoted 17 officers of the Gujarat Administrative Service (State Civil Service – GAS) to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
According to information available, the Central Government has made these appointments under the Select List of 2025, against vacancies that arose between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025. The President of India has appointed these officers to the IAS cadre on probation, and they have been allotted the Gujarat cadre.
The 17 officers who have been promoted are R.N. Kuchara, R.P. Patel, C.B. Ganatra, C.A. Gandhi, B.N. Patel, M.K. Joshi, A.K. Joshi, K.S. Zala, V.K. Jadav, D.K. Patel, B.H. Patel, I.R. Vala, M.D. Chudasama, B.S. Prajapati, V.G. Patel, A.K. Vastani and P.B. Rathod.
