Netflix Drops First Look Teaser Of Ikka: Sunny Deol & Akshaye Khanna Reunite After 29 Years

Almost after three decades the two actors- Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna are set to make a comeback together on screen after the last seen iconic film Border and Dhurandhar. The two stars will be seen on Ikka, which Netflix released on Tuesday. 

Know About Ikka-

The teaser showed a crucial court case fight led by Sunny Deol as a lawyer which will remind you of his iconic role in Damini. Meanwhile, Akshaye seems to be playing the villain role as he won’t budge until he proves his point in the teaser. It gives a sneak peak into the case. 

The synopsis of the title read “A celebrated, incorruptible lawyer is arm-twisted into defending a murder accused,  a man whose career he would notoriously ended, pushing him to use every trick in the trade, ethical or not, to win the case because if he fails, he stands to lose everything he holds dear”.

More Information-

The movie Ikka is directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, who also made a film called Maharaj which was applauded by the audience. It is written by Althea Kaushal and Mayank Tiwari. The star cast includes Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome, Shishir Sharma, Akansha Ranjan and Sanjeeda Sahikh. Release date is yet to be announced. 

Both the actors Sunny and Akshaye were recently seen in their popular films. Sunny is known for his war drama – Border 2 which ran successfully in the box office and crossed ₹ 280 crore within two weeks of release while Akshaye gained worldwide attention through his charismatic and effortless dance in Dhurandhar whose sequel is set to release in theatres on March 19.
