Mumbai: The latest episode of Alliance featured emotional moments alongside intense gameplay, as contestants dealt with changing alliances, fresh nominations and demanding challenges. Among the episode’s standout moments was actor Sohail Khan’s heartfelt account of his father Salim Khan’s recent health scare.
The episode opened with contestants adapting to the latest changes following the exit of Vanshaj Singh and the arrival of new alliance members. Nigerian content creator Agu Stanley Chiedozie spoke about his excitement at being inside the headquarters and shared his desire to meet Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Responding warmly, Sohail said, “They both are really good guys… a lot of gratitude for what they’ve got from the Almighty.”
Sohail Khan Opens Up About His Father’s Health
During an emotional conversation, Sohail explained why he chooses to spend as much time as possible with his parents.
“I spend most of my time with my parents because I genuinely believe that time is the most valuable thing you can give somebody,” he said.
Recalling his father’s recent medical emergency, Sohail added, “My heart sank and the doctor said we might lose him. My parents are my life…”
What Happened to Salim Khan?
Sohail was referring to the health scare veteran screenwriter Salim Khan experienced earlier this year. According to reports, the 90-year-old writer was hospitalised in mid-February after suffering a brain-related medical emergency. Doctors later confirmed that he had experienced a minor brain haemorrhage. After spending nearly a month at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, Salim Khan was discharged on March 17, 2026.
