Kangana Ranaut Reveals How John Abraham Gave ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ Title Free Of Cost

Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut recently shared that actor John Abraham allowed the makers of her upcoming film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata to use the movie’s title without charging any money. According to NDTV, Kangana spoke about the gesture during the trailer launch event of the film held in Mumbai.

The actor said the project was initially titled Nurses of Cama. However, after hearing the story, the team felt the narrative reflected the spirit of India and deserved a stronger title connected to the country’s identity.

How The Film Got Its New Title

Kangana explained that the makers later discovered the title Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata had already been registered by John Abraham. She then personally contacted the actor to request permission to use it.

Speaking at the event, Kangana said she had been told that people in the industry usually do not give away registered film titles easily. However, she revealed that John Abraham agreed within a single day and did not charge any fee for it. As reported by PTI, Kangana expressed gratitude to John Abraham for his support and generosity.

Film Inspired By Real-Life Heroes

Directed by Manoj Tapadia, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is based on the real-life events inside Mumbai’s Cama Hospital during the 26/11 terror attacks. The film focuses on the courage shown by nurses, ward boys, cleaners, security staff and hospital workers who helped save lives during the crisis.

Apart from Kangana Ranaut, the film also stars Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrutha Namdev, Esha Dey, Priya Berde, Suhita Thatte and Zahid Khan among others.

Presented by Pen Studios, the film is backed by Pen Studios, Manikarnika Films and Paramhans Creations in association with Eunoia Films LLP and Floating Rocks Entertainment. The movie is scheduled to release in theatres on June 12.
