Here’s what happened-

The grand event was attended by the whole starcast. Riteish, who was present there, didn’t miss out a single opportunity to thank each and every team member who helped him make this movie with such hard work and dedication. As he started his speech, he got carried away with all those struggles and emotions, his wife Genelia who was standing beside him got moved by his words so much that she broke down on stage. She could barely hold back her tears and everyone noticed it. Infact, Sanjay Dutt was also seen wiping his eyes filled with such emotions. Riteish later thanked Genelia , who played the character of Shivaji’s First wife Saibai Bhonsale, for standing by him and supporting him throughout the journey of making the film. He called his wife his biggest support system.

Bhagyashree calls Ritiesh-Genelia a Real Life Shivaji and Saibai

Bhagyashree further shared a heartwarming moment on-set where their cute bond was quite visible to all. She shared an incident where on the set everybody was done with their dinner but Ritiesh couldn’t have his meal. So his wife, Genelia would carry the plate of plate-sabzi in her hand and make him feed without feeling shy. She was chasing him to eat from her bare hands so that he could have his meal too. According to Bhagyashree, their love was indeed the same as that of their movie characters, Shivaji and Saibai.
