Bigg Boss 20: Salman Khan Slams Qazi Touqeer Over ‘Lollipop’ Remark to Kanika Mann, Says He Was ‘Like a Stuck Record’
In a new promo released by the makers of Bigg Boss 20, host Salman Khan is seen pulling up contestant Qazi Touqeer for his comments on fellow contestant Kanika Mann. It is the first time Salman has taken Qazi to task during the Weekend Ka Vaar. Salman’s remarks on contestants’ performance and gameplay are a highlight of the show’s weekend episodes.
What did Salman say to Qazi?
Last week, Qazi made an offhand “lollipop” comment to Kanika, which she found offensive and uncomfortable. Salman reprimanded Qazi for not apologising immediately and instead arguing non-stop. He said, “Qazi, jab kisi ko aap ke intentions galat laga hai, you should just back out. Lekin aap lagey rahey non-stop like a stuck record (If someone does not understand your intentions, back out. But you kept going for it like a stuck record).”
Salman then asked Kanika whether Qazi had apologised to her. She was seen saying that Qazi has become a little too arrogant over the last three weeks because of his gameplay. Qazi responded that he had said sorry near the gate. Salman said he had not heard that, and added, “Aapne ye kaha ki main goli kha lunga but sorry nahi bolunga. Aapne suna hai kisi ko mazak mazak mein sorry bolte hue life mein (You said you will take a bullet but not say sorry. Have you ever heard someone say sorry in a lighthearted way)?”
The incident that led to the row
The incident took place inside the house during a teacher-student roleplay interaction. When Kanika asked Qazi which subject he would study under her as his professor, he replied, “Biology.” He then added, “You’re very beautiful, ma’am. Can we have a lollipop together?”

The remark did not sit well with Kanika, who criticised his double-meaning comments. She said, “That was cheap, Qazi Touqeer. I don’t expect cheap things from you. Tameez sikhaake jaungi (I will teach you some manners before I leave).” Qazi maintained that it was an innocent comment, made playfully and with no wrong intentions.
Mid-week elimination: Rhiti Tiwari evicted
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 20 also saw a shocking mid-week elimination. Rhiti Tiwari was evicted from the house following a decision by Mahhi Vij, Yung DSA and Uditi Singh.
Last week, Rhiti declared that she hated Qazi and hurled abuses at him during a diss battle task. She also accused Qazi of physically charging at her during the task. Rhiti had expected support from Salman Khan, but the host instead criticised her for her language and rude behaviour towards Uditi and Qazi. He also praised Qazi and Uditi for handling the situation well.
