Wife of YouTuber Anurag Dobhal Hits Back at Trolls

Ritika Chauhan, the wife of popular YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, also known as UK07 Rider, has strongly responded to online criticism accusing her of not being present for him during his recent hospitalisation.

The controversy erupted after reports of Anurag Dobhal’s alleged suicide attempt, which reportedly involved him going live on Instagram before crashing his car on a highway. The incident shocked his followers and triggered widespread discussions on social media about the couple’s personal life.

In her Instagram stories, Ritika Chauhan addressed allegations that she was absent during her husband’s hospital stay. She expressed deep pain over what she described as a significant gap between reality and public perception.

“Not being an influencer or choosing not to share my life online does not mean my story does not exist or hold importance,” she stated. “I do not do anything for social validation. This holds true for my mother, my brothers and sisters, and my relatives as well. None of us deserve this kind of misunderstanding.”

Ritika, who is pregnant, emphasised her commitment to her family and her role as a wife. “As a woman, my only wish has always been for my family to stay together. No girl wants to see her family go through such a situation. I have always tried to fulfil my duties as a wife with honesty and respect,” she said.

She highlighted the additional responsibility she now carries for her unborn child. “This small life should not be surrounded by stress and suffering, yet it is affecting us deeply. All I seek is understanding. However, I still have a question: I was there for everyone when they needed my support. But where were you and where are you when I needed you?” she asked.

Ritika noted that she had faced recent trolling, but maintained that the criticism did not alter the facts. “I will surely clear my side soon,” she added.

In a further statement, she explained her reluctance to engage publicly. “I never wanted to share this, but I feel the need to say it clearly. I do not want to hold onto assumptions or negativity just to fuel online chatter. This is affecting not only me but my family too. I have a life beyond all this — a beautiful one — where I am experiencing the most precious thing: my child. I will not let any negativity surround something so innocent and pure. I am choosing peace, for myself and for my family.”

The couple’s inter-caste love marriage had already drawn attention, with Anurag previously claiming that his family had been exerting mental pressure on him over the union. Ritika was reported to have reached the hospital in an emotional state and broken down upon seeing her husband.

As the pair deals with this challenging period, Ritika’s response underscores her focus on safeguarding her family and seeking empathy amid intense public scrutiny. Multiple reports had highlighted claims of her absence, which she has now directly countered.
