Thousands of fans descended outside actor Allu Arjun’s residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, on Tuesday as the Icon Star celebrated his 44th birthday on April 8, with crowds gathering through the night and well into the day to catch a glimpse of their favourite star.
Fans began assembling outside the actor’s home from the previous night, lining the streets in large numbers. Videos of the gathering went viral on social media, with Allu Arjun’s brother Allu Sirish sharing an Instagram story showing the crowd outside the residence, phone flashlights glittering as the Pushpa actor waved at the gathering. Sirish accompanied the clip with a birthday wish, writing, “May you always be celebrated like this.”
Responding to the outpouring of affection, Allu Arjun stepped out of his home to meet fans up close. Dressed in a black shirt, black sunglasses, and rust-golden hair, the actor greeted supporters with folded hands and personally touched the hands of those cheering for him, expressing his gratitude to all those who had waited for hours simply for a chance to wish him in person.
First Look of ‘Raaka’ Unveiled on Birthday
Marking the occasion, Allu Arjun also revealed the title and first look of his next film — Raaka. The poster features a striking and transformative avatar of the actor, with a furry, wolf-like hand bearing sharp claws partially obscuring his face, intense eyes, and a half-bald hairstyle. The makers accompanied the reveal with the message, “Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits.”
The film marks the first-ever on-screen pairing of Allu Arjun with Deepika Padukone. Details including the release date and plot have not yet been disclosed.
