Wife Sunita Ahuja’s Emotional Prayers for Veteran Star Govinda Goes Viral

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Govinda was admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu early on November 12, 2025, after fainting at his Mumbai home around 1 am due to severe headache and dizziness. His friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, confirmed that the star underwent multiple tests and is awaiting results. Manager Shashi Sinha added that Govinda has been recommended to consult a neurologist.

Just two days prior, Govinda had paid a visit to legendary actor Dharmendra, who was hospitalized. A video of Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, discussing the visit has since circulated widely online.

Captured at Mumbai airport on the evening of November 11 hours before Govinda’s own health scare Sunita Ahuja spoke to reporters about her husband’s hospital trip to see Dharmendra. She said, “Govinda gaye the kal milne unse, main Mumbai mein nahi thi. Woh humaare family ke sabse favourite actor hain, woh He-Man hain. Main Mata Rani se kal se prarthana kar rahi hun ke woh jaldi se jaldi theek ho jaaye pehle ki tarah.”

She continued, “Meri dil se ye dua hai bas main achhi khabar sunn lu. Main bhi jaongi unko dekhne ke liye. Ho jaayenge woh theek. Punjabi log kabhi haar nahi maante. Ekdum first class ho jayenge woh.”

Coincidentally, Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital shortly after news of Govinda’s admission broke. The Deol family issued a statement: “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”
