Candidates who appear for the Re-Neet UG 2026 examination have only a few hours left to challenge the provisional answer key. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the answer key objection window at 11:50 pm today, June 28. No objection will be accepted after the deadline, making this the final opportunity for students to ewport discrepancies in the provisional answers.
The objection facility is available on the official NEET portal, where candidates can log in using their application credentials, review the provisional answer key, and submit challenges for any question they believe has been evaluated incorrectly. Each objection requires a non refundable processing fee of rs 200 per question, payable online at the time of submission.

Expert Review Before Final Answer Key
The NTA has clarified that every valid objection will be examined by a panel of subject experts. If a challenge is found to be correct, the provisional answer key will be revised accordingly. The final answer key, prepared after expert review, will form the basis for preparing the Re-NEET UG 2026 results. Individual candidates will not receive separate notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their objections.
Re-NEET 2026 Background
The Re-NEET UG 2026 examination was conducted on June 21, 2026, following directions for a re-examination. The provisional answer key was released on June 26, along with the online challenge facility. According to the NTA, candidates OMR response sheets are being processed separately, while the agency aims to complete the evaluation process and announce results after resolving all valid objections.
With the objection window closing tonight, candidates are advised not to wait until the final minutes, as heavy traffic on the portal could lead to technical delays. Only challenges submitted successfully before 11:50 pm on June 28 will be considered by the NTA.
