Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has sent heartfelt wishes to veteran actor Rajesh Sharma, who is currently hospitalised following a health scare. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Akshay shared an emotional message along with a photo of the two actors laughing together on a film set.
“Very concerned to hear about my dear friend Rajesh’s health condition after an insect bite while shooting. Hope Mahadev blesses him with fast and complete recovery. Jaldi theek ho ja yaar, abhi saath baith ke bhot hansna hai (Get well soon, friend! We still have to sit and laugh a lot more),” Akshay wrote.
Rajesh Sharma was reportedly shooting for Prabhas-starrer Fauji at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad when he suffered a suspected insect bite. His condition reportedly deteriorated, leading to high fever, breathing difficulties, and a spreading infection in his right leg with blisters forming up to the knee. He was later shifted to a hospital in Kolkata for further treatment and remains under medical observation.

The incident has also sparked concern within the film industry, with the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) demanding a probe into on-set safety protocols at the Hyderabad studio.
