Massive Fire Breaks Out In Scrap Godown In Vapi; Seven Godowns Engulfed In Blaze One After Other

Incidents of fires are rising in the state, with more and more places getting blazed every day. A similar incident occurred in Vapi, where a fire broke out in a scrap metal godown in Dungari Faliya. The fire spread in such a way that 6 other godowns got engulfed in it. People got panicked as one after other a total of 7 godowns caught fire. The fire was brought under control after 4 hours. Luckily, no casualties were reported.

Apparently, the Vapi Municipal Corporation has undertaken action to remove all illegally working scrap warehouses and godowns. On Tuesday (May 20), suddenly a fire started in one of the godowns of Dungari Faliya. Eventually, 7 godowns were engulfed in the fire.

As the fire escalated, its smoke was visible from a distance. Since the godowns are located in a residential area, people got feared seeing the high flames. Fire trucks of Vapi Municipal Corporation, GIDC, among others reached the spot. The fire was brought under control after severe efforts of 4 hours. Additionally, Dungari police also reached the spot. The fire destroyed the godowns of Sana Ullah, Ashiq Ali, Riyasat Khan, Ghulam Bhikha, Gobri Banjara, Pradhan Banjara, and Lalu Chacha.
