Rashmika Mandanna has officially locked the release date for her upcoming action thriller Mysaa. The film is set to hit cinemas worldwide on November 27, 2026. The announcement came shortly after the actress shared updates about her recovery from a hip injury sustained during the film’s demanding shoot.
Taking to Instagram, Rashmika unveiled a fierce new poster and wrote: “MYSAA! The rage! The pain! The heartache! The grief! The grit! The courage! The power and the storm you don’t anticipate coming. That’s MYSAA! In cinemas worldwide on 27.11.26!” The makers, UnFormula Films, described the character as “Resilient by nature. Fearless by choice. Unbreakable by spirit.”
Directed by Rawindra Pulle, Mysaa is an emotional action thriller set against tribal backdrops. Rashmika plays a Gond tribal woman in what is being positioned as a bold, pan-India outing. The project features intense action sequences, including what the team has called India’s first female-led underwater fight scene. Music is composed by Jakes Bejoy.
The release date news follows Rashmika’s recent recovery from a serious injury. While filming a high energy dance sequence for Mysaa, she suffered a complete tendon detachment in her right hip. Doctors advised rest and rehabilitation. In candid social media posts, she called it her third consecutive injury and admitted she needed to treat her body “like a human body and not some machine.” She described Mysaa as the most aggressive film of her career so far.

During her break, Rashmika shared glimpses of slower days filled with rest, puzzles, reading, family time, and moments with her pet dog Aura. She recently confirmed she is getting back to work soon and will miss the unexpected downtime.
