Shah Rukh Khan’s Temporary Mumbai Home Revealed as Mannat Gets a Makeover

Mumbai: A video recently surfaced online, offering a peek into the luxurious temporary residence of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan and his family, as their renowned Bandra mansion, Mannat, undergoes a significant renovation. The Khan family, including Shah Rukh, his wife Gauri, and their children, has relocated to the upscale Pali Hill neighborhood in Mumbai.
Mannat, a sea-facing heritage bungalow and a landmark in the city, is set for an extensive overhaul that could take up to two years. During this period, the Khans have leased two lavish duplex apartments in the Puja Casa building, owned by the Bhagnani family, known for their contributions to film production. The move was prompted by the need for structural upgrades to Mannat, with Gauri Khan submitting an application to the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) in 2024 to facilitate the renovation.
The temporary apartments, while smaller than Mannat’s sprawling 27,000 square feet, still span an impressive 10,500 square feet, ensuring the family’s comfort and privacy. The Pali Hill location places the Khans in close proximity to other Bollywood stars, including Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt, adding a touch of glamour to their new neighborhood. The excitement surrounding this shift, with fans eager to catch glimpses of the superstar’s new abode.
The renovation of Mannat, a symbol of Shah Rukh Khan’s success, marks a temporary but notable change for the family, who have called the iconic bungalow home for over two decades.
