Uttar Pradesh Hit-and-Run: Scooter Riders Thrown in Air After Car Collision in Jhansi; Video Goes Viral

Jhansi: A shocking hit-and-run case has emerged from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, where a speeding car crashed head-on into a scooter, throwing two riders into the air. The incident, which took place on November 13 around 3:40 pm, was captured on CCTV and has since gone viral online.
The footage shows a car attempting to overtake another two-wheeler before suddenly veering into the opposite lane and colliding directly with a scooter. The impact was so strong that both riders were hurled several feet into the air. Eyewitnesses said the car driver did not stop after the crash and fled the scene immediately.
Locals rushed to the victims’ aid and took them to a nearby hospital for treatment. Both men were reportedly wearing helmets at the time of the collision. Residents have demanded strict action against the absconding driver.
Police are yet to release an official statement regarding the case.

Earlier this week, Bengaluru Police arrested a 23-year-old software engineer accused of deliberately ramming his car into a scooter, injuring a couple and their young son. The hit-and-run, which occurred near the Ramaiah Hospital bus stop on BEL Road on October 26, was also caught on CCTV. The viral video shows the driver speeding away after the deliberate collision.
