Bollywood Star Govinda Rushed to Hospital After Sudden Collapse at Home

Veteran actor Govinda was urgently admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai’s Juhu suburb after losing consciousness at his residence late Tuesday night.
The 61-year-old star experienced disorientation, leading to the faint, according to his close friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, in a statement.

Bindal explained that Govinda received medication following a phone consultation with a doctor before being taken to the facility. “He was given medicine after consulting a doctor and was admitted to the hospital in emergency at 1 am,” Bindal confirmed.
While declining to elaborate further on the actor’s health, Bindal noted that multiple tests have been conducted, with results still pending.
This incident marks the second time in just over a year that Govinda has required emergency care at the same hospital. In October of last year, he sustained a gunshot wound to his leg when his licensed revolver accidentally discharged while he was placing it in a cupboard.

The actor was hurried to Criticare Hospital near his Juhu home, where he was placed in the Intensive Care Unit. Surgeons removed the bullet during an operation that lasted about an hour.
Recounting the mishap after his release, Govinda told reporters: “I was leaving for a show in Kolkata and it was early morning around 5… woh giri aur chal padi (it fell and misfired)… I was stunned and then I saw a fountain of blood coming out.” He added that his personal doctor accompanied him to the hospital.
As of now, no further details on Govinda’s current condition have been released.
