Crime Is Taking Place Across State And Administration Is Failing To Control : Union Minister Chirag Paswan

New Delhi : Union Minister Chirag Paswan on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government. Paswan said that crime is taking place across the state and the administration is failing to control the situation. Incidents of murder, robbery, kidnapping, and rape are continuously taking place in Bihar. Union Minister Chirag Paswan on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government, saying he is saddened to support a regime where crime is rising and remains unchecked.

It seems the administration has failed to stop them,” Paswan said, while expressing concern for families who have lost loved ones to crime. He added that the pain of the victims’ families must be acknowledged. Paswan also accused the government of either trying to cover up the situation or being unable to handle it. “There is a need for the government to wake up in time,” he added.

Furthermore, as the Bihar election approaches, the union minister also expressed that he does not see himself in central politics for long, adding that his entry into politics has always been for Bihar and its people. Paswan said he has already conveyed his wish to return to Bihar soon to his party and added that the final decision will depend on whether his participation in state elections will strengthen the party or not.

While addressing the media, the union minister also noted that his party had a 100% strike rate in the recent Lok Sabha elections and said he wants to do the same in the state assembly elections.
