Mumbai Weather Forecast: Cloudy Skies and Moderate Rainfall Expected Today

Mumbai: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted overcast conditions with intermittent moderate rainfall across Mumbai and its surrounding areas today, July 14, 2025. Strong winds are also expected in parts of the city. According to the Santacruz observatory, temperatures reached a high of 30.8°C and a low of 25.8°C, while Colaba recorded a maximum of 31°C and a minimum of 24.6°C. In the past 24 hours, Mumbai saw 11.92 mm of rainfall, with the eastern suburbs receiving 22.64 mm and the western suburbs 15.84 mm.

The recent rains have boosted water levels in the city’s reservoirs, which now stand at 75.79% capacity, holding 1,096,952 million liters, as per the latest data. High tides are anticipated at 4:27 AM (4.47 meters) and 2:28 AM on July 15 (3.88 meters), with low tides expected at 8:33 PM (1.45 meters) and 8:07 AM on July 15 (0.97 meters). The Central Pollution Control Board’s Sameer app reported an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 42, indicating ‘good’ air quality, improved by consistent rainfall and high precipitation levels of 75%. The IMD forecasts continued rain throughout the week, with a gradual decrease in intensity by the weekend, consistent with Mumbai’s typical monsoon patterns.
