Mumbai Local Train Services to Face Delays Due to Mega Block on June 22

Mumbai – Central Railway has announced a mega block on its suburban network this Sunday, June 22, 2025, to carry out essential maintenance and engineering work. The planned disruptions will impact services on the Central and Harbour lines, affecting commuters traveling between Matunga and Mulund, as well as Mankhurd and Nerul.

On the Central Line, the mega block will affect the Up and Down slow lines between Matunga and Mulund from 11:05 AM to 3:55 PM. During this period, Down slow line trains departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) between 10:14 AM and 3:52 PM will be rerouted to the Down fast line, with stops at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, and Mulund. Similarly, Up slow line services leaving Thane from 11:07 AM to 3:51 PM will be diverted to the Up fast line, halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla, and Sion. These trains will be redirected back to the slow line at Matunga but are expected to arrive at their destinations approximately 15 minutes late.

On the Harbour Line, services between Mankhurd and Nerul will be suspended from 11:10 AM to 4:10 PM. This will affect Down Harbour line trains to Vashi, Belapur, and Panvel departing CSMT from 10:34 AM to 3:36 PM, as well as Up Harbour line services from Panvel, Belapur, and Vashi to CSMT leaving between 10:16 AM and 3:47 PM. To ease commuter inconvenience, special suburban trains will operate between CSMT and Kurla, and between Panvel and Vashi. Additionally, Harbour Line passengers will be permitted to travel via the Thane-Vashi/Nerul section from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the block.
