The deadly plane crash in Ahmedabad has destroyed the dreams and lives of a lot of people. Not only the flight passengers and people present in the hostel mess died, but local people who were near there also became victims of the crash.
Amid such conditions, news of a filmmaker going missing after the plane crash are surfacing. An Ahmedabad based filmmaker, Mahesh Kalawadiya alias Mahesh Jirawala, has reportedly gone missing after the Air India plane crash.
As per Mahesh’s wife Hetal, Mahesh had gone to attend a meeting in the Law Garden area on June 12. At 1:14 in the afternoon, he had called up his wife and informed that the meeting had finished and he was on his way back home. As time passed and Mahesh did not reach home, Hetal tried calling him but his phone was switched off.
After several hours of not being able to establish any contact with Mahesh, Hetal informed the police and filed a missing complaint. Upon investigations, it was revealed that at the time of the plane crash at 1:40 PM Mahesh’s mobile was switched off. Moreover, his car has also not been found.
Hetal added that usually Mahesh would not commute through that road, but on that day his last location was of only 700 meters away from the crash site. With this information, the family is unwillingly speculating that Mahesh might have been a victim of the crash.
As of now, investigations are going on. The police are trying to find the body of Mahesh from the crash site. Meanwhile, his DNA samples have also been collected in order to match them with the bodies that will be recovered at the crash site. Mahesh Jirawala is a Gujarati music video director. He has worked with Gujarati artists like Jignesh Kaviraj, Kishan Rawal, Kaushik Bharwad, among others.
