Do you remember the grey-shaded character ‘Mandira’ from ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ or ‘Pallavi’ from ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’? Yes, Achint Kaur who rose to fame after proving her craft in Ekta Kapoor’s popular soap operas took to Instagram seeking work opportunities.
On Monday, Kaur shared a heartfelt video on her Instagram handle, stating that she is actively seeking acting roles. In the video, the versatile actor spoke about her experience across various platforms and range of characters she has played. She also earnestly requested people to consider her for suitable roles in a video titled, “On the lookout for new work.”
“Hello, everyone. I hope you are doing well. This is a little note from the heart. I am an actor and voice artist with years of experience across platforms. And right now, I am looking for exciting new opportunities, both in India and internationally.”
She added, “Whether it be short films, films, series, all kinds of voice work, or social media collaborations—basically anything creative—I’m ready to give it my all. So just in case you or anyone you know is casting or open to collaborating, please let me know, because I would be very excited to connect.

Achint Kaur is an actress in Indian television and cinema, particularly recognized for her roles as Mandira and Pallavi in Ekta Kapoor’s soap operas, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, respectively, both of which were broadcast on StarPlus. She also voiced the character Shenzi in the Hindi version of the movie The Lion King. She portrayed the roles of a mother and a mother-in-law in the TV series Jamai Raja. Achint has also made her mark in Bollywood with roles in films like Guzaarish, 2 States, and Haider.
