‘We missed none’: NSA Ajit Doval Hails India’s Indigenous Tech Power, Cites Precision of Operation Sindoor

National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval praised the pivotal role of India’s indigenous technology in the success of Operation Sindoor during his address at the 62nd Convocation of IIT Madras on Friday. Highlighting the mission’s precision, he urged young engineers to drive innovation and bolster India’s technological self-reliance.

Doval emphasized the operation’s reliance on homegrown systems, stating, “Operation Sindoor showcased our indigenous capabilities, from BrahMos missiles to radars—entirely Indian-made. We targeted nine terrorist sites across Pakistan with pinpoint accuracy, hitting only those targets in just 23 minutes.” He challenged critics, noting, “No photograph shows unintended damage. The New York Times published claims, but images of 13 Pakistani air bases before and after May 10 tell the true story,” as reported by PTI.

Encouraging students to take pride in their heritage, Doval reflected on India’s resilience. “You are part of a civilization that endured a thousand years of hardship and dishonor. Our ancestors faced immense struggles to preserve our nation’s identity,” he said, inspiring the audience to contribute to India’s future.

Doval underscored the need for self-reliant communication systems to safeguard national security and data privacy, describing these efforts as vital for strengthening critical infrastructure. He also hailed Artificial Intelligence as a transformative force, urging India to embrace emerging technologies independently. “While China took 12 years and $300 billion to develop 5G, India created an indigenous alternative in just two and a half years, thanks to our private sector,” he said, emphasizing the urgency of rapid innovation.
