Vadodara : A young man was attacked violently by 3 people on Tuesday night following scuffle over Rs.150. He was admitted to Sayaji Hospital in a bleeding condition. Having information, Manjalpur police rushed to the spot and registered a case against the three people in this matter and started an investigation.
The injured youth’s father Anilbhai said that on Tuesday, they came in a rickshaw and called my son out. He said, “brother, take your 150 rupees.” As soon as my son went there, without any conversation, two people caught him and the third one beat him with a paddle.According to the complaint filed by 26-year-old Manishbhai Koyaram Marwadi, a resident of Amar Krupa Society in Manjalpur area, at Manjalpur police station, on February 2, 2026, around 7 pm, a young man named Kartik and his two companions came to the complainant’s house and abused him. When the young man stopped them from abusing him, a general scuffle broke out and the three of them left from there.
on February 3, 2026, at around 10.30 pm, Karthik and his two companions came to the complainant’s house and took him to the road near the Shri Saibaba temple near the house on the pretext of discussing the matter of the previous day. During the conversation, they suddenly started abusing him. During this, Karthik and another person held the complainant, while the third person hit him on the right side of his stomach with the paddle. The complainant injured the thumb of his right hand while trying to catch the paddle.
After the attack, the three accused fled from the spot. The injured youth’s father Anilbhai immediately reached the spot and shifted the injured to Sayaji Hospital in his private vehicle. He is currently undergoing treatment. Regarding this incident, Manishbhai has filed a complaint against Karthik and his two unknown accomplices at Manjalpur Police Station. Manjalpur Police is investigating the incident. Anilbhai, the father of the injured youth, said, “On Monday, my son went to those people to take 150 rupees of his hard work. When he asked for his money, they started abusing him. My son only said, don’t abuse him, if you don’t have money right now, it doesn’t matter, but don’t behave like this.” Hearing this, they left from there.
The father of the injured youth said that the attackers came in a rickshaw. The name of one of them is Kartik and the name of the other is Sikandar. We do not know the names of the remaining two persons. This incident took place near the mobile shop near Marutidham Amarkrupa Society, house number 82. All these scenes have been captured in the CCTV camera of the temple.
