Threat To Blow Up Famous Schools In Ahmedabad Causes Panic, Parents Worried

Ahmedabad : A bomb threat was received by a prominent school in Ahmedabad city early this morning. The threatening email targeted 3 branches of Sant Kabir School, St. Xavier’s Loyola, DPS Bopal, Calorex School of Ghatlodia, Swayam School of Vastrapur and Apple Global School. The police, bomb squad and crime branch teams have been immediately activated. The threatening email said, ‘Modi-Shah are enemies of Khalistan, save your children’.

This morning, the school administration received an email about the bomb within a few minutes of the opening of the 3 branches of Sant Kabir School in Ahmedabad, St. Xavier’s Loyola located in Navrangpura, DPS Bopal, Calorex School in Ghatlodia and Swayam School in Vastrapur. The school management immediately informed the police control room without delay. As soon as the threat was received, both the schools immediately informed the parents through messages and phone calls to take their children home.

The DPS school in Bopal informed the parents through a message that they should take their child. The consent form was filled when the parents reached here and the parents were shocked. Despite the threat of finding a bomb, the parents also panicked due to this kind of action. After receiving the threat, a team from Ahmedabad Crime Branch reached schools. With the help of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDDS) and Dog Squad, an investigation was conducted in the classrooms, grounds and lobby of the school.
