Stop State-Sponsored Terror If You Want Place In Geography : Army Chief Warns Pakistan

New Delhi : In a scathing warning to Pakistan, Indian Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Friday said that India’s western neighbour must stop state-sponsored terrorism or its historical and geographical existence will be in danger. If Pakistan wants to maintain a place in world history and geography, it must stop state-sponsored terrorism.

During Operation Sindoor on May 7, the Indian armed forces carried out precision strikes, destroying nine terror launchpads and killed over 100 terrorists in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and deep inside Pakistan’s mainland in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist attack which claimed 26 civilian lives.

However, the Indian forces thwarted the Pakistani attacks, and prevented any damage to the country’s key installations, including civilian locations. General Dwivedi further spilt the beans by instructing the Indian troops to stay prepared and on standby, hinting they may get another opportunity to unleash their firepower soon. Please be fully prepared. God willing, you will get another opportunity very soon. All the best. Jai Hind,” he added.

While US President Donald Trump claimed that he brokered peace between the two nuclear-armed nations, India has been firm on its stance that there was no third-party intervention in reaching the ceasefire agreement. General Dwivedi’s strong statement gains further significance as, days after the military conflict came to a halt, Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned Pakistan that Operation Sindoor is still underway and that any future provocation will invite an even stronger reply.
