Rahul Gandhi Escalates Vote Chori Claim In Berlin, Ruling party uses ED And CBI To Target Political Opponents

New Delhi : Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has launched an attack against the BJP, accusing it of “weaponising” the country’s institutional framework. Addressing a gathering in Berlin, he alleged that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) were being used by the BJP to target political opponents.

In his remarks at the Hertie School last week, the Congress leader said, There is a wholesale capture of our institutional framework. There is a full-scale assault taking place on the institutional framework of our country,” he claimed. Our intelligence agencies, ED and CBI have been weaponised. The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, who was on a five-day tour of Germany last week, went on to say that if a businessman supports the Congress, they are threatened, alleging that India’s institutions are no longer functioning as they should.

But this is not how the BJP sees it. They view the institutional framework as something that belongs to them. They use it as a tool to build political power. Gandhi also said democracy is under attack and stressed the need to counter it, adding that “we will create a system of opposition resistance that will succeed. We are not fighting the BJP, but their capture of the Indian institutional structure.”

We have won elections in Telangana, Himachal Pradesh. We have been raising issues as far as the fairness of elections in India is concerned. I have done press conferences in India where we have clearly shown without a shadow of a doubt that we won the Haryana election and that we don’t feel the Maharashtra elections were fair,” he said. We fundamentally believe that there is a problem with the electoral machinery in India,” he added.

He claimed that the PM Modi-led government’s economic approach has reached a dead end and can no longer deliver results. Gandhi acknowledged that many people support PM Modi, but said a large section of Indians disagree with his ideology and vision for the country. He argued that this vision is flawed and risks creating deep social tensions. We think the vision will fail and it has tremendous problems. It will create massive tensions in India and make Indian people fight with each other. We will fight it. It is a clash between two visions in India.

In a post on X, Bhandari alleged that Gandhi, along with his ideological patron George Soros, is seeking to foster chaos and unrest in Indian democracy, travelling abroad to unite what he called anti-India forces. He went on to say that Congress opposes India’s progress and democracy, and under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, the party promotes anarchy.
