‘London Connection’ In Surat Drug Manufacturing : 3 Arrested For Making Drugs In Name Of Food Testing Lab

Surat : Surat SOG has busted a ‘high purity crystal mephedrone’ drug factory operating under the guise of a food testing lab inside a commercial mall in Parvat Patiya area of ​​Surat, leaving the police stunned as it revealed an international connection. After the confession of Jill Thummar, who was caught with 236 grams of drugs from Amroli, the police raided the lab of Polaris Shopping Centre and arrested a total of 3 people.

In this conspiracy to manufacture drugs in the city and lure the youth to the streets at the behest and financial assistance of the mastermind and lab owner Janak Jadani, who is based in London, the police have seized Rs 2.92 lakh worth of drugs, prepared drugs and flammable chemicals and are conducting further investigation. This entire chapter began on January 1, 2026, when SOG caught 21-year-old Jill Bhupatbhai Thummar from Amroli Chhaprabhatha Road with 236.780 grams of MD drugs. During the strict interrogation of Jill, a shocking confession came to light that these drugs did not come from any other state, but were prepared in a private laboratory within Surat city itself.

The investigation team reached Polaris Shopping Centre on Parvat Patiya Vesu Canal Road. SOG raided the ‘Dikriya Food and Pharma Analytical Laboratory’ based on a tip-off. While investigating inside the lab, the police found modern machinery and chemicals, which were used to prepare high purity crystal mephedrone drugs. This lab, which was running in the name of food testing, was actually proven to be a large drugs manufacturing unit.

The most shocking twist of this racket has come to light as it connected with London. Police investigation has revealed that the real mastermind of this drugs factory, Janak Jadani operates entire network from London. The necessary financial help and guidance for this lab was provided from London. It is now being seen that this is an international conspiracy to get the youth of Surat addicted to drugs.

Police have arrested the mastermind behind the drug manufacturing in this case, Brijesh Vrajlal Bhalodia, who is himself a senior lab technician. Along with him, drug suppliers Khushal Vallabhbhai Ranpariya and Bharatbhai alias Bhano Damjibhai Lathia (age 32) have also been arrested. Accused Brijesh used to misuse his chemical knowledge to prepare high quality mephedrone, which was sold in the market at the behest of a London-based handler.

During the raid, a large amount of goods have been seized from the factory, which includes 200 ML mix chemical (value ₹20,000), 1 liter HB chemical, 5 liters H2SO4 and flammable chemicals like methyl amine. In addition, 1 piece Vacuum Oven (value 25,000), 1 piece Vacuum Pump (value 20,000), overhead Stirrer and Digital Weighing Machine, a total of 2,92,050 items have been seized. This also includes 16.950 grams of prepared Mephedrone drugs worth 50,850.
