Iran Warns Gulf Nations: Don’t Let Enemies Use Your Soil to Wage War on Us

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a direct warning to Gulf countries on Saturday, telling them not to allow their territories to be used for military operations against Tehran if they want to preserve stability and development in the region.
In a post on X, Pezeshkian repeated Iran’s stated policy of no preemptive strikes but made clear that restraint has limits. “We have said many times that Iran doesn’t carry out preemptive attacks, but we will retaliate strongly if our infrastructure or economic centres are targeted,” he wrote. His message to neighbouring states was blunt: “If you want development and security, don’t let our enemies run war from your lands.”
Iran Claims Strikes on US Positions in Dubai
Separately, Iranian state media outlet Fars News Agency reported that Iran struck two US Army “hideouts” in Dubai. A spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya said US personnel had relocated to these sites after earlier Iranian strikes on American bases in the region.
According to the spokesperson, the two locations held more than 500 US Army personnel roughly 400 at one site and 100 at the other. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps identified both locations and carried out missile and drone strikes, the spokesperson claimed, inflicting heavy casualties. The statement also warned that the region could become a “graveyard” for American soldiers and that US leadership would eventually have no choice but to withdraw.
Pentagon Weighs Troop Deployment to Middle East
A CBS News report, citing a source familiar with Pentagon planning, said the US military is expected to deploy troops from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East. The deployment may include a command component alongside ground forces.
The report also noted that a possible US ground operation targeting Iran’s Kharg Island is under consideration, even as Iran has reportedly begun mining the area and reinforcing its forces there.
