Nashik : In a fresh revelation from the alleged cases of sexual harassment and forced religious conversion at a TCS-linked BPO in Nashik, a fourth survivor has accused senior officials of ignoring repeated complaints. The survivor alleged that despite multiple verbal complaints against accused Raza Memon, no concrete action was taken.
Why do you want to be in the spotlight? Just let it go; drop the matter, the survivor alleged was told to her by the HR and Operational Manager, Ashwini Chainani, when she escalated the matter. The alleged harassment began during her induction training in May 2023, when Raza Memon approached her while she was alone and tried to initiate personal communication.
Over time, she alleged, the conduct escalated. Memon would “follow me around” and “make unwanted physical contact,” she said, adding that he would stare at her in a way that made her uncomfortable and force conversations despite her reluctance. When she reported the matter to her Quality/Training Manager in June 2023, she was allegedly told that Memon’s conduct had been “questionable” in the past and was advised to “ensure that I never remained alone.”
Even after her marriage in November 2025, the alleged harassment continued. She claimed Memon made sexually suggestive remarks about her personal life, including asking, “After marriage, what exactly keeps you so busy at night?” In another incident in February 2026, when she sought leave for a trip with her husband, Memon allegedly made inappropriate comments, asking if she was going on a honeymoon and whether she consumed alcohol.
Her statement also mentions another incident on March 19, 2026 (Gudi Padwa), when a colleague, Shahrukh, allegedly made inappropriate remarks about her appearance and asked her to go out with him after staring at her in a “strange, fixed gaze.” Despite repeated complaints, she alleged that no action was taken. Instead, the inaction “effectively encouraged the misconduct” of the accused.
