
Authorities in Kullu district are on high alert following a bomb threat received via email on Friday, May 2, 2025, according to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority. The threatening message targeted various locations, including government offices and public spaces, warning of potential attacks within 24 hours.
In response, the District Disaster Management Authority has mobilized police and security personnel to enhance vigilance and ensure public safety. This incident follows similar emailed bomb threats received last month by the deputy commissioners’ offices in Chamba and Hamirpur districts, indicating a concerning pattern in the region.
Kullu administration is taking all necessary precautions to address the threat and safeguard residents and visitors.
