Bihar Election : If You Ask PM Modi To Dance For Votes, He Will Do It Says Rahul Gandhi

Muzaffarpur : Kicking off his Bihar poll campaign with a bang, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi unleashed a no-holds-barred attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of doing “anything for votes”. With just a week to go for the high-stakes assembly polls, the Congress MP pulled no punches as he laid into PM Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Latching onto the just concluded Chhath Puja, the biggest festival for Biharis, he pointed to the dichotomy of devotees praying in a polluted Yamuna in Delhi, while the Prime Minister took a dip in a “specially made” pond. Narendra Modi went to bathe in his swimming pool. He tore into Nitish Kumar for “doing nothing” for backward sections despite having the reins of Bihar for 20 years, before accusing the BJP of “misusing” the JDU supremo’s image to control the state.

BJP has the remote control in their hands, and they have nothing to do with social justice,” he said. The Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition renewed his vote chori charge, warning that a similar attempt could be made in Bihar. They are engaged in stealing your votes. They stole elections in Maharashtra, they stole elections in Haryana, and they will try their best in Bihar, Gandhi alleged.

They will try their best to ensure that a government with the voice of Bihar is not formed in Bihar. This is what SIR means. But we guarantee you that we will form a government of every class, every caste, every religion in Bihar. We will not leave anyone behind, Gandhi said. Tell me what is written on the back of your phone?” he asked the crowd.
