Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the Legislative Council in the budget session. During this, he described the organization of Mahakumbh and said that this was an organization that the world will remember for a long time. Attacking the opposition, Yogi Adityanath said, ‘Some parties did not agree with this and were spreading false rumors about Mahakumbh. However, the faith of the people did not waver. People coming from the country and abroad have praised Mahakumbh with open hearts.’
Chief Minister Yogi said, ‘The Mahakumbh is being praised all over the world in the 45-day event. Not a single incident of looting has taken place in this Mahakumbh. No kidnapping has taken place. This is the influence of Sanatan’s social discipline. Which says that there is no place for casteism and regionalism here.’
On the SP leader’s Aurangzeb controversy, the Chief Minister said, ‘SP considers him an ideal who used to impose jizya on the people of India. Send SP MLA Abu Azmi to UP, we will treat him. Big gangsters have been fixed here. Earlier, mafias used to run in this region, police used to run away. Police used to salute mafia. But, now the region has changed its mind on the matter of law and order. Today, people of the country and the world look at the people of the region with great respect.’

He made a controversial statement about Aurangzeb and called Aurangzeb a skilled administrator and said that Aurangzeb had worked to destroy temples as well as mosques.
Abu Azmi clarified on this matter and said, ‘If anyone feels wronged by my words, then I withdraw my statement. The work of the assembly should not be stopped. My words have been exaggerated.
