Ahmedabad : Ahmedabad Airport received bomb threat on Sunday. ‘I am a child of the devil, you have 24 hours to stop the bloody game’, a message that sent the airport authority into a frenzy. Following threatning email to blow up airport building, checks were conducted at every corner of the airport through out the day. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
Ravikant Bhardwaj, working as a senior screener in the security in-line department at Ahmedabad airport has filed a complaint that yesterday, while he was at work, he received a call from security manager Shailesh Kuril on his mobile. On the phone, Shailesh Kuril said that a bomb threat message has been received on the airport’s email ID. The email came from EVILTERRORIZER111@GMAIL.COM.
The e-mail said that there is a bomb in the airport building, you have 24 hours to stop this bloody game. I am the leader of a terrorist group. No one in this world can catch me. I am the child of Satan. I have planted a bomb, you have 24 hours. Get ready to face the bloody game. The airport authority also immediately informed the police in this regard.
Upon receiving the threat of blowing up the airport with a bomb, the bomb squad, dog squad and personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force deployed at the airport conducted a check. All flights and every corner of the airport were checked by the security. Apart from this, the passengers were also checked. A search operation was conducted at the airport throughout the day, but nothing was found.
