Rohit Sharma’s ₹4 Crore Lamborghini Stuck in Mumbai Traffic!

Mumbai : With plenty of time left before India’s upcoming ODI series, Rohit Sharma—who has already retired from T20Is and Tests—is currently enjoying a long vacation with his family. However, while driving his newly purchased Lamborghini worth ₹4 crore, Rohit had a bitter experience on the busy streets of Mumbai. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

In the viral clip, Rohit can be seen sitting in the driver’s seat of his luxury car, caught in a heavy traffic jam on Saturday. A fan spotted him and shouted his name. Instead of ignoring, Rohit responded with a thumbs-up, greeting the admirer warmly.

Rohit’s Lamborghini Urus SE, a red-colored SUV that ranks among the fastest sports utility vehicles in the world, was recently added to his car collection. Although he decided to take it out for a drive during Mumbai’s monsoon season, he ended up facing the same traffic troubles as every other commuter.

Why is the Lamborghini’s Number Plate 3015?

The registration number of Rohit’s Lamborghini—3015—has a personal touch. The number is believed to be a combination of his daughter Samaira’s birth date (30 December) and his son Ahan’s birth date (15 November). Interestingly, the total (30+15) adds up to 45, the jersey number Rohit Sharma famously wears for India.

Will Rohit Retire From ODIs Too?

After guiding India to the T20 World Cup title in 2024, Rohit has restricted himself to ODIs and the IPL. The big question now is whether he will continue until the 2027 ODI World Cup or call it quits earlier. Both Rohit and Virat Kohli quit T20Is in 2024 and stepped away from Test cricket in 2025. Their fans now fear the two legends might soon announce their retirement from ODIs as well. Notably, Rohit still holds the world record for the highest individual score in ODIs—264 runs.
