
New Delhi: India’s men’s Under-19 team will tour Sri Lanka in July for a series comprising three One-Day matches and two multi-day games. The squad includes Anvay Dravid, son of Indian cricket legend Rahul Dravid, along with a Gujarati player.
Seventeen-year-old Anvay Rahul Dravid is a wicketkeeper-batter. He has already represented India Under-19, having played a match against Afghanistan-A in which he took two catches behind the stumps.
The India Under-19 squad for the Sri Lanka tour will be led by Yashvardhan Singh Chauhan, while Lakshya Rajchandani has been named vice-captain. Anvay Dravid has been included in the squad for the ODI series against Sri Lanka Under-19. Gujarati cricketer Kavya Paresh Patel has been selected in both the ODI and multi-day squads.
