India Make Poor Start In ODI: Gill Out For 1, Kohli Bowled For A Golden Duck

New Chandigarh: While India, led by Shreyas Iyer, defeated Pakistan to win the gold medal at the Asian Games in Japan, the Indian team made a poor start after opting to bat in the third and final ODI against West Indies in New Chandigarh.

India lost two wickets for just four runs. Captain Shubman Gill, who had scored 110 runs in the first ODI and remained unbeaten on 223 in the second ODI against West Indies, was dismissed for just one run today.

Virat Kohli, who had smashed an unbeaten 139 in the first ODI and also registered several records, was clean bowled off the very first ball he faced today. Both Indian batters were dismissed by pace bowler Jayden Seales.

At 13.5 overs, India were 55 for two, with Rohit Sharma batting on 31 and Ruturaj Gaikwad on 22.
