Hardik Pandya to return on this date; know which team he will join and whom he will face

New Delhi: Several of India’s key players have not been seen in international cricket for several weeks due to various injuries, both before and after IPL 2026, and all-rounder Hardik Pandya is one of them. However, Hardik could be back in competitive action from October 6.

The 32-year-old Hardik last played a competitive match for India in the March-May IPL, representing Mumbai Indians. He has been out of action since then after suffering a serious thigh injury and being declared unfit.

Hardik has been included in the India A squad that will face Australia A during the latter’s tour of India in October. The India A team, led by Devdutt Padikkal, will first play two multi-day matches against Australia A, but Hardik is not part of that squad. He has, however, been named in the squad for the three ODIs against Australia A on October 6, 9 and 11. Ruturaj Gaikwad will captain the ODI side.
