Delhi Godman’s Disturbing Texts: Seeking ‘Sex Partner’ for Dubai Sheikh from Female Students

New Delhi: The recent apprehension of self-proclaimed spiritual figure Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati has brought to light a series of WhatsApp messages that expose his alleged mistreatment of young women enrolled in his educational programs.

Among the most alarming interactions, the 62-year-old appears to be coordinating what he termed an encounter involving a “Dubai Sheikh.” In a discussion with one purported student, he messaged:

Delhi Baba: “One Dubai Sheikh wants to [have] a sex partner, do you have any nice friend?”

Victim: “Koi nahi hai” (There is no one).

Delhi Baba: “How it’s possible?”

Victim: “I don’t know.”

Delhi Baba: “Your any classmate? Junior?”

In separate exchanges, possibly with the same individual or another, Chaitanyananda frequently used diminutive and patronizing phrases like “Sweetie Baby Daughter Doll,” accompanied by persistent notifications sent throughout the day and into the early hours:

“Babyyyyy” (7:49 PM)

“Baby where are you?” (11:59 PM)

“Good Morning Baby” (12:40 PM)

“Why are you angry with me?” (12:41 PM)

On one instance, he greeted: “Good Evening my most beloved baby daughter doll.”

Victim: “Here afternoon sir, happy afternoon. Did you have something sir?”

Elsewhere, he lightheartedly suggested “doing some disco dance” and inquired if she wished to participate. “Wow sir osm,” came her response, which authorities interpret as courteous deflection.

In yet another dialogue, he directly posed to a student: “You’ll not sleep with me?”

Capture in Agra

Authorities took Chaitanyananda into custody at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sunday from a hotel in Agra’s Taj Ganj neighborhood. Officials reported that the suspect had dodged arrest for close to two months, shuttling between Vrindavan, Mathura, and Agra while opting for modest lodgings and taxi travel to elude tracking.

He had registered at the Agra establishment on September 27 using the pseudonym “Partha Sarathi” and occupied Room 101, where he stayed confined until apprehended.

Currently held in five days of police remand, he is expected to face questioning alongside three female associates from the institute, whom investigators accuse of aiding in intimidating students and erasing compromising communications.

The raid yielded an iPad and three smartphones, including one granting remote oversight of the institute’s surveillance cameras and dormitory areas.

Additionally, counterfeit business cards identifying him as a “Permanent Ambassador” to the United Nations Economic and Social Council and a “Special Envoy” for BRICS were confiscated. Two passports surfaced—one under “Swami Parth Sarathi” and the other as “Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati”—bearing inconsistent records of origin and family background. Law enforcement has seized properties valued at Rs 8 crore.

Probes further revealed withdrawals exceeding Rs 50 lakh following the August FIR filing, purportedly via falsified paperwork.

The complaints originated from women studying at his Delhi-based private management college. The initial police report details coerced late-night visits to his residence and unsolicited explicit communications dispatched at irregular times. Chaitanyananda stands accused of targeting at least 17 such students.
