Dolphins Make a Splash in Welcoming Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore Back to Earth

The return of NASA’s Crew-9 astronauts has captured global attention as a tale of resilience, innovation and heartwarming moments. NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore are back on Earth after spending 9 months in space due to the technical faults.
The journey began on June 5 of last year which is in 2024 and surprisingly stretched from eight days to nine months with the goal of testing Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft. Unfortunately, a propulsion malfunction rendered the vehicle unfit for a return trip, leaving the crew stranded aboard the International Space Station.
These astronauts have been brought back by SpaceX dragon Spacecraft. While everyone awaited the arrival of the stranded astronauts with a tempted breath, it was not only the human beings who seemed happy, but a couple of dolphins were seen playfully swimming near the capsule and welcoming Williams and Wilmore back home.
The SpaceXDragon Craft splashed down safely off Florida’s coast at 3:27am, marking the successful end of their long held journey. The astonishing view of the dolphins swimming near the capsule during the recovery operation surprised everyone , over the internet users are in aww and are stating as ” Dolphins wanted to welcome both of the astronauts first by saying welcome home”. The recovery vessel lifted the capsule out of the water, the astronauts moved out of it for the first time since September. They were then transported to Houston for a 45 day rehabilitation program designed to help them to readjust to Earth’s gravity.
