Songhare, a south Mumbai native, graduated from Bharat College and trained as cabin crew before working with SpiceJet and joining Air India in 2024. Known for her vibrant travel content, she recently visited her ancestral village in Ratnagiri for a festival, a trip her brother Vignesh said no one expected to be her last. She leaves behind her husband, C K Rajesh, a fellow cabin crew member, their 13-year-old daughter in Mulund, and her grieving mother in Dombivali. The crash, which also killed 24 people on the ground, including four MBBS students and a doctor’s wife at BJ Medical College, prompted an investigation by India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau, as announced by Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu.
