Mumbai: Residents of Mumbai can expect warm and partly sunny weather conditions on June 8, with the possibility of light rainfall later in the day. The city’s maximum temperature is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, offering little relief from the prevailing humidity.
Partly Sunny Skies Expected Across The City
According to weather forecasts, Mumbai is likely to witness a mix of sunshine and clouds throughout the day. While the morning may remain warm and humid, isolated light showers are expected in certain parts of the city by evening.
The changing weather pattern comes amid pre-monsoon activity being observed across several regions of Maharashtra in recent days.
AQI Continues To Stay In ‘Good’ Category
Mumbai’s air quality remained favourable on Sunday, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 25. The reading falls under the “good” category, indicating minimal impact on public health.
Improved air quality levels have been observed in the city due to intermittent rainfall and changing wind patterns over the past few days.
Weather Conditions May Shift Further
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has earlier indicated the possibility of light rainfall and thunderstorm activity in parts of Maharashtra due to changing atmospheric conditions. Similar weather activity has also been reported in nearby districts in recent days.
Mumbai has been witnessing fluctuating weather conditions, with occasional cloudy skies and short spells of rain offering temporary respite from the summer heat.
