Mumbai : Water Supply To Remain Suspended For 14 Hours In Bandra, Khar On Tuesday

Mumbai : A 14-hour water cut has been imposed in Bandra, Palihill area in the western suburbs on Tuesday next week. According to the municipal water supply department, the leak in the 900 mm diameter water pipeline of Palihill reservoir is to be repaired immediately. This repair will be carried out on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 10 am to 12 midnight i.e. for 14 hours. Due to this, water supply will be completely shut off for 14 hours in some areas of Khar and Bandra, while water supply will be provided at low pressure in some areas.

Repair work will be carried out on the pipeline passing through the open MHADA plot near Qureshi Nagar slum in Bandra West as well as the pipeline passing from the Western Express Highway. Residents have been appealed to store sufficient water in advance as a precautionary measure. As a safety measure for citizens, residents are advised to boil and filter drinking water for the next few days.

Areas where water supply will be completely cut off:

Bandra West : Hill Road, Perry Road, Manuel Gonsalves Road, St. Andrews Road, St. Paul’s Road, Carter Road, Pali Village, Chimbai Village, Shirley Village and Kantwadi area.

Khar West : Khar Danda, Koliwada, Danda Pada, Chuim Village, Gazdar Bandh slum and some parts of Khar West.

Hanuman Nagar Slum, Laxmi Nagar, Carter Road, Union Park Road No. 1 to 4 Pali Hill.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road area, Pali Plateau Slum and 15th to 20th Road in Khar

Some parts of Bandra West, including Chapel Road, Veronica Road, Dr. Peter Dias Road and St. John the Baptist Road.

Mount Mary Cathedral and adjoining road areas on Bandra West side.

K.C. Road, L.K. Mehta Road, some parts of Bazaar Road, and A.K. Vaidya Road, Bandra West.

Zigzag Road, Kul Dongar, Nargis Dutt Road and Pali Mala Road.

Areas with low pressure water supply : From the end of Hill Road to the end of Taj Land, including B.J. Road, H.K. Bhabha Road, Can Road and Ganesh Slum Area. (Water supply will be available from 1 am to 4.30 am )
