Mumbai Megablock : Services To Be Affected On All Three Lines, Check Details Here-

Mumbai : Commuters across Mumbai’s suburban railway network should expect significant disruptions on Sunday, February 15, as planned maintenance blocks by Central, Western and Harbour Railway will impact services on key routes.
Western Line-
The Western Railway has announced a jumbo block between Ram Mandir and Borivali on the Up Fast line and the fifth line from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. During this period, fast local trains will be shifted to alternate tracks, and trains usually operating on the fifth line will be run on the Down Fast line. Railway officials warned that these changes are likely to cause delays and may lead to some service cancellations. Passengers bound for stations on affected routes are being advised to consider the Harbour line or other transport options.

Central Line-
On the Central Railway, a mega block will be in place between Matunga and Mulund on both Up and Down lines from 11:05 am to 3:45 pm. Fast services in both directions will be diverted to slow lines during this window. Officials stated that while some trains will run with delays of up to 20 minutes, others may be cancelled altogether due to the track changes.

Harbour line –
The Harbour line will also be affected, with a separate block scheduled between Kurla and Vashi from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm. All regular Up and Down services between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Vashi–Belapur–Panvel will be cancelled during this time. To ease travel for passengers, special local trains will operate between CSMT and Kurla and Panvel and Vashi. Meanwhile, services between Thane and Vashi or Nerul will continue on the usual timetable.
Railway authorities emphasised that these maintenance blocks are essential for infrastructure safety and urged commuters to review updated schedules and plan their journeys accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
