Mumbai Local Train Disruptions on July 6, 2025: Central and Harbour Lines Affected by Mega Block

Mumbai commuters are urged to plan their travel carefully due to a scheduled railway mega block on Sunday, July 6, 2025, which will disrupt train services on the Central, Harbour, and Trans-Harbour lines. According to the Lokmat English Desk, the maintenance work is essential for infrastructure improvements, causing significant changes to train operations on key routes.
On the Central Line, services departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) between 10:36 AM and 3:10 PM will be rerouted to the Down slow line at Matunga, stopping at all scheduled stations between Matunga and Mulund. These trains are expected to arrive at their destinations approximately 15 minutes late.
Harbour Line services will also face disruptions. Up Harbour Line trains from Panvel to CSMT, operating between 10:33 AM and 3:49 PM, will be canceled, as will Down Harbour Line services from CSMT to Panvel or Belapur between 9:45 AM and 3:12 PM. To mitigate the impact, special local trains will run on the CSMT–Vashi section during the block period.

The Central Railway advises passengers to check train schedules in advance to avoid inconvenience.
